HORNBACH DIY Store has created the world’s first ‘Sneakerpool'- an XXL pool shaped like a pair of HUGE cult status adidas x 43einhalb ZX 10000 "Joint Path" sneakers.

And - guess what? It’s made from materials anyone can buy at a HORNBACH DIY store.

DIY store HORNBACH, who have carved a niche for themselves in being not just the most creative DIY store in terms of their offering - but also in terms of their communication. Hornbach is known, especially in Germany, for making really ‘out there’ campaigns and for forging very unusual partnerships, having collaborated with the likes of artist Ai Weiwei and renowned architect Sigurd Larsen (and many more).

But now, this is a shift to a younger and more upcoming audience - as this stunt is making sneakerheads' dreams come true… Fashion influencers and sneaker fans were among the first to take a dip in the Sneakerpool.

And it’s of course a cheeky reminder that the pool season is now well underway, and where better to get your materials for your own pool, than at a HORNBACH store?
