Description
7-Eleven is a go-to convenience store for food, gas, snacks, and hot and cold beverages. Cold drinks are a popular item at 7-Eleven. SLURPEEs are no exception, especially for Hawaiians. Every Hawaiian has their favorite SLURPEE. We decided to give a tribute to all who love the drink by creating characters that represent different sizes of the SLURPEE cups — from small to extra large.
We designed characters for each drink. Each has its age, ethnicity, activity, and, of course, favorite SLURPEE cup. Meet uninhibited and fearless Kai, always smiling Liam, never-afraid-to-take-a-bite-out-of-life Mateo, and lovely Emma!
As a result, our agency developed a creative concept for the new packaging line, including script and characters. We created the video in frame-by-frame animation, which is more laborious than classic animation but more eye-catching. 2 videos, 15 seconds each, were created for the legendary products — SLURPEE and BIG GULP.
