Description

Problem: Globally, hearing parents struggle to communicate with their deaf children.

Fact: There are approximately 70 million deaf people worldwide, yet, 90% of deaf children are born to hearing parents who don’t know sign language.

Insight: Parents want a practical app that helps them learn to communicate with their deaf children in sign language.

Solution: Give hearing parents around the world multiple resources to help them learn sign language within the duolingo app.
