Sex is for Every Body

RFSU who promotes access to sexual and reproductive health and rights and The Swedish Disability Rights Federation have launched a new campaign to broaden the view of sex with disabilities or chronic illnesses.

A disability or a chronic illness is not an obstacle to a wonderful sex life. That is the message in a new campaign brought to life by M&C Saatchi Stockholm together with New Land and Skarp Agent.

The background is a survey that RFSU and The Swedish Disability Rights Federation have done together with IPSOS, where over 2,000 people with disabilities or chronic diseases responded. The report showed that what consistently prevents people with disabilities or chronic illnesses from gaining access to their sexual and reproductive rights is that they are desexualized.

By sharing stories about sex and desire experienced and told by people with disabilities or chronic illnesses the campaign aims to broaden the view of sex with disabilities.

The campaign takes place mostly in social channels and consists of an online film and an associated Instagram account. The common theme of the campaign is to convey that sex is for every body.
