Promo video for Bikes 4 Ukraine campaign

Agency: linza agency

Description

In Ukrainian cities such as Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, and others, which have been affected by Russian military aggression, the bicycle has emerged as the primary mode of transportation. These cities face challenges due to disrupted or completely non-functional public transportation systems and a scarcity of fuel. Consequently, bicycles have become one of the most efficient means of mobility for delivering humanitarian aid and enabling the movement of essential personnel. By assisting the Ukrainian people in their quest for mobility, Europeans contributed to saving lives during this time of war.

The Campaign is initiated by: U-Cycle (NGO ‘Kyiv Cyclists’ Association’), NGO ‘Eco Misto’ (Chernihiv), NGO ‘Youth Association Extreme Style’ (Sumy), NGO ‘Urban Reform’ (Kharkiv), NGO ‘FORZA‘ (Uzhhorod), NGO ‘VeloVector‘ (Odesa).

Recently, linza agency created a promo video for this important campaign.

“Thanks to the support of European countries, hundreds of volunteers from Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages have received bicycles, which means they now have the opportunity to deliver humanitarian aid quickly and safely to those in need. In the videos, we wanted to showcase the emotions of the people and the scale of this support so that Europeans can see that they are doing something truly important and beneficial. We filmed in two cities – Kyiv and Mykolaiv. In the capital, we were able to capture the unloading of aid for Ukrainians, while in the south, we showed a typical day of volunteers who use bicycles to deliver groceries to pensioners, veterans, and large families.”, – said Natalya Zasyadko, Producer, linza agency.

As of mid-April, 1146 bikes have been collected through this campaign.
