Introducing ‘Plastic To Products - the first-ever sustainable performance shoe collection by Sprint from the house of Apex.

Around 8 million tons of plastics enter our oceans every year and about 80% of this debris sinks into the ocean’s ecosystem, releasing toxins and polluting underwater life. As a step toward Apex's environmental responsibility and to help prevent plastic pollution, the newest performance collection is crafted from recycled PET bottles that have been transformed into plastic threads to create the upper material of each pair; utilizing used plastic bottles dumped in the ocean in the most sustainable way. These high-performance shoes are driven by innovation, combined with practical design, and consciously made to make a difference without compromising your strides.

For the visualization, we decided to create the master visual based on the concept of shattering a typical plastic bottle with the Sprint shoe which is made out of the same plastic threads from the bottle. We also created two supporting visuals that represent two environments where the highest amount of PET bottles are found in Bangladesh, ocean and beach.
