No Whopper Day

Description

The word "whopper" means an extravagant lie, and every April Fools, all brands tell whoppers.
The problem is there can only be one Home of the Whopper, so this year, we are putting our foot down.
On April Fools day, we will celebrate our most honest day in history, No Whopper Day. All the messages we send out across all of our communications platforms will be brutally honest.
In store, we will rename the Whopper the Hopper, or Honest Whopper, the first sandwich of its kind named after the truth.
Then, we will ask people to bring in McDonald's whoppers, or extravagant lies, to our restaurants to get a free Hopper sandwich.
As the day goes on, the focus on their whoppers will turn to our truths, reminding the world that there can only be one Home of the Whopper and turning the anti-prank into the greatest April Fools prank yet.
