Sometime in 2021, the rise of fraudsters calling unsuspecting customers and pretending to customer care representatives from the bank, while tricking them into sharing vital personal information was alarming and Access Bank decided to do something about it.

As part of the "Banks Don't Ask" campaign, which communicated the truth that no bank will ever ask their customers to share certain pieces of information such as their card PINs, passwords, or one-time passwords, the agency created a radio commercial that liked the situation to locking your gates to secure yourself but leaving the keys right there for thieves. This radio material aired across radio stations in Nigeria as well as in several branches across the nation, even till this date.
