Description

Iraq is one of the countries that has many missing persons as a result of the wars and internal conflicts it has experienced over the past decades, and this has left a huge negative impact on many Iraqi families. Since the beginning of its presence in Iraq, the International Committee of the Red Cross has been working actively and continuously on the file of the disappeared. Through this campaign, the ICRC has worked to spread awareness about the International Day of the Disappeared to invite all local and international parties to participate in supporting the families of the missing because Disappearing changes the whole meaning of life for these families… and this is what we worked on as a core insight of our idea. In our visual communication, we did use Arabic words that can visualize the meaning of suffering to those families through disappeared letters.
