Debt counselling service

According to the Czech Institute of Over-indebtedness and Prevention the Ústí nad Labem Region has been ranked first in the Czech Republic in terms of over-indebtedness. There are also up to 6 executions per capita in the Ústí nad Labem region.

An over-indebtedness of an individual person is a problem which affects the whole society. Those people often resort to a specific way of subsistence, they suffer from health problems, mental health and stress. They are facing challenges in terms of family or friendship relationships. They also face a threat of loss of housing or property.

The problem of debt is rising especially after the covid pandemic. Consequences will be recognized in 1-2 years. This is why it important to raise awareness on how to calculate monthly income and expenses, to implement family budgets, to identify where to save and how to manage money.

This print campaign aims to spread awareness to the public about the Czech organization NADĚJE and their debt counseling service which is provided for free. NADĚJE helps people who can no longer cope with their long-term financial problems on their own. These debt relief services are provided on the accreditation of Ministry of Justice basis.

In 2021, they helped 490 people to resolve their critical financial situation.
