The desire to adopt has been with us since we were children. For many of us, our childhood was a tapestry woven with cherished companions; Barbie dolls, action figures, teddy bears that we referred to, took care of and emotionally connected with like they were our children.
However, as we matured, societal norms cast a shadow on the beautiful act of adoption and we let it make us believe that adoption isn’t such a positive thing.
This World Adoption Day, we want to tell the whole world to embrace their inner child that loves to adopt by showing the different children we ”adopted” as kids and all the fun times we had with them.
