Blalaland is a film that aimed high. It aimed to manifest the idea of digitalization by employing a distinct language and embarking on a captivating visual odyssey that highlights the unparalleled force behind the Digital Government Authority and its role in shaping the present and future of the Kingdom. Not only this, but it also aimed to introduce a totally fresh narrative and visual treatment to the entire Saudi market.
The film strikingly balances between fictional reality and surrealism. It was meticulously planned to favor a grounded aesthetic that depended on a certain spectrum of colors, choreography, whimsical and staged elements that all result in bringing this piece to life.
